This time I had too many leftover bananas and was left clueless upon how to use these. Suddenly, my mind responded with this awesome recipe and I promise you are going to love this recipe.
Bananas - 2 (medium sized)
besan flour- 2 tbsp
urad papad- 5 ( medium sized)
turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
red chili powder - 1 tsp
aamchur powder- 1/4 tsp
garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
crushed black pepper- 1/2 tsp
buttermilk - 1 cup
jeera seeds- 1 tsp
water- as per requirement
salt as per taste
Cut bananas into thick round pieces.
Now, mix one tbsp of besan, 1/2 tsp red chili powder, garam masala, aamchur powder, black pepper and salt.Add water to it to make a thickish slurry.
Add the cut bananas into it and marinate the bananas into the mixture and let it stay for 10 minutes.
Alongwith this, prepare the curry. To make the curry, heat the oil in a pan. Add the cumin seeds/jeera and let it crackle.Mix the besan and buttermilk and add this to the pan.
Add turmeric powder and red chili powder a bit of sugar and salt for the curry. Now add the fried bananas to the curry.
Garnish with the coriander spring.
Yummy Banana pakoda kadhi is ready to be served with rotis/fulkas/ khichadi etc.

Procedure:

Till then, crush the raw papads finely. Now post 10 minutes, coat the marinated bananas into papad and shallow fry all the banana pieces.
Add turmeric powder and red chili powder a bit of sugar and salt for the curry. Now add the fried bananas to the curry.
Garnish with the coriander spring.
