Stuffed Dahivada

Dahivada is commonly made snacks item in the Indian Cuisine. It is a form of chaat that can be made at any time and can be enjoyed anytime.
To give it a little variation I have learned to make stuffed dahivada from my mom. This recipe is innovative yet easy to make. To make these at home, try this recipe.

Ingredients :

Potato- boiled and mashed - 1 cup
Urad dal(soaked for 2 hours)- half cup before soaking
Salt - as per taste
Ginger chili paste - 1 tbsp
Water - as per necessity
Chopped coriander- 1 tbsp
sugar- 2 tbsp
lemon juice- 1 tbsp
garam masala- 2 tsp
curds- 1 cup
imli ki chatni - 1 tbsp
green chatni - 1 tsp
oil- to fry the vada


Procedure:

Take the soaked urad dal and remove all water from it. Add salt and ginger chili paste to it and grind it till it forms a medu vada consistency.( add water for this)
Keep the paste aside.


Now take the potatoes add chopped coriander, ginger chili paste, salt, sugar, lemon juice and garam masala to it. Make small balls out of this mixture.
Now dip these balls into urad dal mixture we have and deep fry it on fast flame.
Make all the vadas in same fashion.
Beat the curds and add some salt and sugar to it. Prepare the imli ki chatni and dhaniya ki chatni
Put the vadas in the beat curds. Spread inli ki chatni and green chatni on it.And delicious dahi vada is ready to eat..
