The best thing I like about the vrats/ upwas is that we eat all satwik food. Satwik food is an ancient Indian category of food which does not contain too much of masala/spices and neither too much of oil ghee. This kind of food helps the mind to remain calm.

Tamarind - 3-4
Green chili- 4-5
Curry leaves - 8-10
Peanuts - 3/4 cup
Water - as per necessity
oil- 2 tbsp
cumin seeds/jeera- 1 tsp
salt - as per requirement
Heat oil, add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
Add the paste, let the paste cook for 3-4 minutes.
Serve hot with any vrat item you want.

Procedure:
Grind all the ingredients except water.Heat oil, add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
Add the paste, let the paste cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add water to meet the desired consistency. Bring it boil
Serve hot with any vrat item you want.
