Chocolate Modak

Ganesha is home and His favorite modak is the sweet of the season. When the sweet of the season meets ingredient of millennium, chocolate, what can be more soothing than this! This is an easy recipe with just 6 ingredients..
Try this today, to please Ganesha and earn His blessings!

 

Ingredients:

Marie biscuits-crushed- 1 small pack(the Rs. 10 one)
dark chocolate- 50 gms - ( i used extreme dark chocolate- 86% cocoa, if not using this dark, adjust the sugar quantity accordingly. )
powdered sugar- 3 tbsp
milk-1/2 cup
fresh cream- 1/2 cup




Procedure:


1. In a thick bottomed vessel, add cream. 



2. Add chocolate and powdered sugar to it. Mix well. Make a sauce out of it. Add milk to it to bring it to a proper consistency.



 3. Bring it to a proper thick consistency. Make sure it does not stick at the bottom.


4. Add the crushed biscuits to it. Mix well and remove off the flame.


5. This is how it will look finally.



6. Grease the mold with some ghee and add the mixture till it gets perfectly filled.


7. De-mold it and modaks are ready. I hope you enjoy these.
