Masala Poori

Masala Poori is a dish commonly made in every house. This poori is served as a snack item in my house. This can be made in a jiffy and when served hot, are delicious. When served with a cup of hot tea/ coffee, it tastes even better.. This is a short recipe of how to make this one..

Ingredients:


  • Gehu ka atta/ whole wheat flour - 2 cups
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • red chili powder- 1 tsp
  • oil - 1 tbsp
  • ajwain - 1 tsp
  • salt - to taste


Procedure:

Mix gehu ka atta, ajwain, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder. Add oil. Knead a tough dough from this mixture. Rest the dough for about 10 minutes. 





Now, make small pieces of it.



Make it flat and roll the round pooris. Fry the pooris on fast flame. 




Delicious pooris are ready and can be served with green chutney, curd. It tastes best with the pickles.. my favourite.. choonda..
