Churma laddus

Churma laddus are the traditional Rajasthani laddus. These are often combined with Dal bati to make a perfect combination. Note this recipe of delicious yet easy to make laddus..


Ingredients:

Wheat flour- 1 cup
oil- 2 tbsp
ghee- 1 tbsp
water as per requirement
jaggery- 1/4 cup
dryfruits- for garnishing



Procedure:

Add oil to wheat flour and mix well. Then add water as per requirement and make a very tough dough out of it.







Now, roll out a thick roti out of it. Make holes into it using the rolling pin to ensure proper cooking. Cook the roti on tava with slow flame. 




Now crush the roti in a mixer grinder.


To make the jaggery syrup, heat a tablespoon of ghee. Add the jaggery to it. Stir continuously till jaggery melts.



Add this jaggery syrup to churn roti and mix well.
The laddu mix is ready. Make the laddus out of the laddu mix and garnish with the dryfruits.


Serve these ladoos as 'bhog/naivedya' to Lord Ganesha to please Him and earn His blessings.
