Bajra Pooris with a twist

Bajra flour is very healthy for the winters. Hence, at my home, we make a lot of recipes out of bajra flour. One of such recipes from my Mom is the Bajra pooris. I have given it a simple twist by adding one or two elements to it to make it my version of it. Here is the recipe.. I hope you enjoy it.

Ingredients:

For bajra poori:

Bajra flour- 2 cups
curds-  3 tbsp
green chili paste- 1 tbsp
sesame seeds / til- 1 tbsp
black pepper powder- 1/2 tbsp
salt- to taste

For toppings:

hung curd- 2 tbsp
green chutney/mint coriander chutney - 1tbsp
potato salli/ chips- 15
tooty fruity- 10-15 pieces

Procedure:

Step 1: Mix bajra flour, curds, green chilly paste, sesame seeds, pepper powder and salt.

Step 2: Make a soft dough. Rest it aside.

Step 3: Roll out the pooris.

Step 4: Cut the pooris with the help of cookie cutter.

Step 5: Fry these pooris on medium flame. Ensure proper cooking.

Step 6: Take the pooris out on absorbent paper to ensure the excess oil is removed.

Step 7: Pooris are ready to be garnished.

Step 8: Mix curd and mint chutney to create the dip. Place this dip on the poori. Placed the tooty fruity on it. Place potato chips on it. Serve immediately.
