Ingredients:
- Water -11/2 cup.
- sugar- 2 pinches
- spinach leaves - 2 bowls
- mint leaves- 1/4 cup
- coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
- curry leaves -8-10 leaves
- tomatoes- 2 (medium sized)
- peanuts -1/4 cup
- dalchini/cinnamon -2 sticks
- tej patta / bay leaf - 1 leaf
- elaichi / green cardamom- 2
- kali mirch/ black pepper - 6-8
- fennel seeds - 1 tsp
- saunth powder -1/4 tsp
- jeera- 1/2 tsp
- dhaniya - 1 tsp
- oil -2 tbsp
- ginger chopped- 1 tsp
- milk- 1/2 cup
- salt -as per taste
- honey -2 tsp
- boiled corn -1/2 cup
- boiled peas- 1 cup
Procedure:
1. Boil the water. Add a little sugar to it. Now add the spinach leaves to it. Let it boil for 2-4 minutes. Turn off the flame. Strain the water and let it cool down. Add some mint leaves, coriander leaves and dried curry leaves to it. Add 3 green chilies in it and make a paste out of it.
2. Now, cut tomatoes. Add peanuts to it. Add cloves, dalchini, tej-patta, elaichi, kali mirch, fennel seeds, saunth powder, jeera and dhaniya to it. Make a fine paste out of it.
3. Now, heat up oil and add ginger to it. Cook a little and add the tomato spice paste to it. Cook till the oil separates. After this, add the spinach paste to it. Cook this paste as well. Now, add milk slowly, stirring the mixture continuously.
4. Cook well till it separates the oil. After this, add salt, add honey and mix well. Add boiled corn and boiled peas.
Serve hot with roti/ naan /rice.
