19. upma balls:
Preparation time : 5 minutes
Cooking time : 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- suji- 1 cup
- water- 3 cups(put as per the requirement of suji)
- carrot-1/4th cup
- sweet corn- 1/4 th cup
- green chili- 3
- ginger- 1/4th inch
- sambar masala- 1 tsp
- tomato ketchup- 1 tbsp
- garam masala- 1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
Procedure:
1. heat little oil in the pan and add chopped chilies and ginger to it. Add suji to it. Let the suji get cooked very well.(cook it till it gets a good golden brown color)
2. then add water, chopped carrot, sweet corn to it. Add salt to it. let the upma get cooked well and have a consistency of dough that we can roll.
3. let the upma get cool down and then roll the balls out of it.
4. now heat a little oil, add tomato ketchup and garam masala to it. Then add sambhar masala to it. Add little water to it. Let all the masala get cooked till the oil separates and then add all the balls to it.
5. let all the masala coat the balls.
upma balls are ready to serve..
