18. Sprouts tikki:

    Preparation  time     :   10 minutes
    Cooking  time              :   10  minutes
 

Ingredients:

  • Sprouted moong: 1 cup
  • coriander leaves(finely chopped)-  1cup
  • mint leaves(finely chopped)- 3/4 cup
  • beet- 1/4 th cup
  • besan-1/4 cup
  • salt-to taste
  • gren chili paste- 1 tbsp
  • lemon juice- 2 tsp
  • honey- very little(just to balance the taste of the lemon juice)
  • Milk- 1/2 cup
  • roasted, crushed poha- 1/2 cup
  • oil- to shallow fry

Procedure:

1. Finely grind the sprouted moong to make a smooth paste by adding a little water during the process.
2. Add the coriander leaves, mint leaves, and beet.
3. Add a little besan and see if we could bind the tikkis.
4. Mix all the ingredients very well and make tikkies out of it.
5. Coat the tikki with milk and then coat it with roasted, crushed poha.
6. Shallow fry these tikkis and serve hot.

Thus a healthier version of tikkies is ready. If you want to add the healthy stuff, replace oil by olive oil.
