7.Matar paneer kachori:

     Course                           :  Starters
    Serves                             :   4
    Preparation  time      :   10 minutes
    Cooking  time              :  10 minutes
 

Ingredients:

  • Matar(green peas) (boiled)-100gm
  • Potato (boiled)- 1
  • ginger(finely chopped)
  • green chilies(finely chopped)
  • oil (for deep frying)
  • garam masala -1/4th tea spoon
  • sugar-to taste
  • mint leaves- 4-5
  • cumin seeds
  • curry leaves(2-3)
  • coconut (freshly grated) 
  • aamchur powder-1/4th tea spoon
  • coriander (as per requirement)
  • wheat flour(1/2 cup)
  • rava(1/4th cup)
  • water (as per requirement)
  • salt to taste

Procedure:

Heat little oil and add cumin seeds to it. Add curry leaves to it. Add green chilies and ginger to it. 
Add boiled matar with potatoes and mash the mixture well. (Don't mash the mixture much).
 Add little sugar,aamchur powder, garam masala. Add the finely chopped leaves of mint.Add coriander leaves and add paneer to it. Add coconut to it and let the mixture cool down.
In another bowl, mix wheat flour and rava. Add some salt to it. Make a good dough out of it. Let it stay for some time. 
Make a pedha out of it and roll it as a poori. Add the mixture to it and make kachori out of it. 
Deep fry the kachoris on slow flame. 
Take out when golden brown.
Serve kachoris with green chutney.

**Green Chutney recipe: Blend fresh Coriander,some mint leaves,salt,lemon juice,sugar,Groundnuts(just to thicken it),and water.You will get a thick paste or the chutney.
