1.Cheesy Toast:

    Course                     :  Starters
    Serves                      :   2
    Preparation time       :   10 minutes
    Cooking time            :  20 minutes
 

Ingredients:

  • Bread Slices -   8
  • Cheese cubes- 4
  • Carrot  (finely grated)
  • ginger(finely chopped)
  • green chilies(finely chopped)
  • oil(for frying)
  • boiled potato
  • garam masala -1/4th tea spoon
  • sugar -to taste
  • lemon -to taste
  • black pepper -1/4th tea spoon'
  • Milk-2 cups
  • green chutney(made up with coriander and mint)
  • salt to taste
  • Butter-20 grms
  • Maida-25 grms

Procedure:

In a pan,make the butter to melt. Saute the ginger and green chillies. Add maida as soon as the butter melts.Cook the maida for a while.Do this till the maida is totally mixed with the butter.
Add the carrots in it. Then add the milk to it.Add a cube of cheese to it . Let this mixture be cooked till it attains a thick consistency(like the cheese spread).Add salt to taste. Add pepper.
In a bowl mash the potato. In it add salt to taste. Add the garam masala,sugar and lemon.Add some green chilies and mix it properly.
Then take a bread slice.Apply the green chutney on it. Apply the mixture of cheese on it. Grate some cheese on it   Apply potato mixture on it. Get it fried till it gets a golden brown color.Enjoy the delicacy with tomato ketchup.
**Don't fry the bread on slow frame.
**Green Chutney recipe: Blend fresh Coriander,some mint leaves,salt,lemon juice,sugar,Groundnuts(just to thicken it),and water.You will get a thick paste or the chutney.
